Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum?

All tattoos begin at a base rate of $100. Any tattoo session that is longer than 30 minutes is $150 at minimum. 

What is your deposit and how does it work?

My deposit cost ranges from $80 to $200 depending on the design and size. You can also pay more, if you prefer!  Deposits are a non-refundable guarantee for your appointment. It is subtracted from the  total cost of your tattoo after your final appointment. A deposit form will be required to sign, which highlights client and artist expectations.

What sanitation products do you use?

Cavicide, disposables, and PPE are the most important facet to tattooing. Hygiene and maintaining your health is CRUCIAL to the tattooing process. I am BBP certified and use products that are recognized by healthcare professionals.

Can I bring my children with me to my appointment?

While children are adorable, they can be curious about the world around them and that involves a lot of touching things. Sanitation is my number one priority. The safety of your child is important to me as well. Tattoo spaces have sharps containers that contain biohazardous waste and materials. Please do not bring your children to your appointment, unfortunately, you will lose your deposit and be asked politely to reschedule. Please allow 72 hours to provide notice should you need to reschedule.  For consultations, it is generally okay with me that you have your kiddo with you. During tattoo time, it is a strict no.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

1. Drink plenty of water, and DO NOT consume alcohol at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. 

2. Moisturize the area that is going to be tattooed (this isn't necessary, but helpful).

3. Please shower the morning of or night before.

4. Eat a proper meal beforehand (I recommend carbs and proteins).
5. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages, I have some provided for you as well if needed.
6. Please dress appropriately - I'm happy to answer any questions you have! (For example, if you're getting your legs tattooed, bring a pair of shorts. Or if your chest, bring a tank top, etc.)

Is there any reason I could be turned away for a tattoo service?

For cover ups, sometimes you will need laser removal before an appointment.

As for behavior, I will not tattoo if you show up intoxicated or seem to be under the influence of drugs. If you refuse to sign consent or agreement forms this is grounds for termination of the appointment. Repetitive cancellations, consistently running later than 15 minutes, and general disrespect of time are also reasons to absolve deposit and not continue with any work. Any kind of verbal, physical, or sexual abuse is automatic refusal of services. Aggressive communication and racism is also grounds for termination of the appointment and refusal of any and all future services.

Can I opt-out of photos?

If you wish for me to not share on social media your photos, please discuss this with me. I'm happy to protect your privacy. All photos on social media exclude the face unless it is a neck or face tattoo. (Brow services can be cropped to exclude other facial features, or not shared at all) Please understand that before and after photos are for legal protection as proof of providing services. They are necessary for your appointment.
